"Chasing Waves" As an Irish glass artist residing next to the breathtaking sea, I embark on a daily ritual of inspiration. Accompanied by my two loyal canine companions, I stroll along the sandy shores, soaking in the tranquil ambiance that surrounds me. This connection with nature fuels my creativity, leading me to design and meticulously handcraft kiln fused glass waves. Allow me to introduce you to these remarkable pieces, crafted with translucent turquoise, sapphire blue, and ice clear glass that beautifully reflects sunlight, encapsulating the essence of the ocean.
The unique glass wave is suspended inside a hand painted white circular frame, the glass is made with individually placing layers of cut glass on top of each other, and then firing in a special glass kiln over 48 hours. There is a small glass dolphin dancing in the centre of the glass wave, chasing waves!! . No two wave art pieces are ever the same, making them totally unique wall art pieces.
