The Long Walk Galway

This kiln fused and hand painted glass captures the beauty of Galway's historical area known as The Long Walk, located beside the River Corrib, and opposite the famous fishing village, known as The Claddagh, which is part of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, and very popular with locals and visiting tourists to Galway City.

The kiln fused glass is painted by hand in our studios, and consists of three layers of different premium coloured glass, with two iconic Galway hooker boats on the river, and is fired in a special glass kiln over a period of 48 hours at very high temperatures.
