Stained Glass in Headstone

Here is something we worked on last month, a headstone.

The customer comes to me with an idea, we talk about design, size, and colours, and then we work on a template. The local stone carver then cuts the shape and size, and then five sheets of glass are inserted into the stone and glued in position. The single tiffany glass design is inserted into two pieces of glass to make it waterproof, then soldered together, then two other clear pieces of glass are inserted front and back of the stone to magnify the colour of vibrant stained glass and give it depth.
